Manufacturing & Operations Job Description: Welding experience preferred PLC programming / troubleshooting experience - Mitsubishi experience a plus especially Q series PLC's HMI Programming experience - GOT2000 / GOT1000 a plus (Mitsubishi) 3D Solidworks experience

Responsibilities

Pneumatics experience Hydraulics experience

• Basic wiring knowledge - how to install sensors, camera wiring, etc.
• Robotics experience a plus - especially Fanuc and Denso robotics.
• Basic measurement tool experience a plus (height gage, calipers, etc.) Willing to work extended hours and some weekends to complete projects on time

Requirements

• ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC.
• Tooling design experience - they should be able to make a drawing and an assembly drawing using 3D & 2D CAD GD&T experience
• Must be able to read a mechanical drawing
• Must be comfortable working in a team

Preferred

• Previous automotive experience a plus
• Previous New product launch experience a plus

Must be comfortable in a high paced environment Ideal candidate would be looking for a long-term position / not looking to switch jobs in a short period of time - retention is very important to keep our skill set and continue to grow stronger as a team

Previous experience with defect reduction, changeover tooling improvements, closing near miss safety issues, cost reduction activities, process improvements, cycle time studies, and working on quality improvements including PCA's / ICA's The ideal candidate will be self-motivated. They should be able to look for problems on their own if they have free time to help improve our company.
