Sewing Machine Operator

• To be successful in this role you must be proactive in meeting our production schedule and customers’ expectations of quality.
• As a Sewer you will sew cut patterns and follow established procedures in the efficient operations of the sewing team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow the direction of the Sewing and Finishing Team Supervisor.
• Operate various sewing machines.
• Properly use and maintain your sewing machine.
• Sew fabric for cushions and pillows according to cut patterns and established quality standards.
• Maintain the workflow by order date.
• Acknowledge and prioritize rush orders.
• Inspect units and finished units for any flaws or structural defaults.
• Complies with all safety regulations and maintains the workstation in a neat, clean orderly fashion.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years working in high volume sewing position highly desired.
