Systems Architect

Apogee Engineering have multiple opportunities for Systems Architects . The Systems Architects provides journeyman-to-senior level technical leadership for the design and optimization of business and IT architectures supporting NASIC Business Architecture initiatives.

Responsibilities

• These positions align enterprise systems, processes, and data flows with mission objectives, ensuring interoperable and scalable solutions. Contingent Upon Contract Award Responsibilities Develop and maintain enterprise and system-level architectures, including logical and physical views of systems, services, and data.
• Translate business and mission requirements into architectural designs and technical roadmaps.
• Conduct trade studies and requirements allocation to identify optimal architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with program and technical managers to align architectures with schedules, cost, and performance objectives.
• Prepare and present architectural documentation, diagrams, and briefings to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to implementation teams to ensure adherence to approved architectures.

Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: TS/SCI Education / Years of Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in systems architecture or closely related functional area Journeyman: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Six (6) additional years of work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree, or four (4) additional years of work experience plus an Associate’s degree may be substituted.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in systems architecture or closely related functional area; Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Eight (8) additional years of work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree, or four (4) additional years of work experience plus a Bachelor’s degree may be substituted.
• TOGAF certification required.
• Demonstrated experience developing and documenting complex IT/business architectures in support of DoD or similar missions.
