Systems Engineer, Senior

Responsibilities

• Leads SEIT execution for Red LAN sustainment, technical baseline management, Bifrost/software integration, interface engineering, customer additions, and configuration-controlled technical changes.
• Assesses mission, architecture, interface, cybersecurity, and operational impacts; leads DR/CCB technical inputs; directs technical planning, requirements analysis, test readiness, and end-to-end engineering verification for approved changes.
• Support complex projects to include design and management over the project life cycle.
• Applies sound principles and methods to difficult problems in technical areas to arrive at automated solutions.
• Apply work-processes and tools to manage risks on technical projects in the areas of engineering, organizations studies, and project management.
• Designs and prepares technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.
• Prepares and delivers presentations and briefings.Translates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with multi-discipline engineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements.
• Participates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation.
• Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
• Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements

Requirements

Bachelor's degree 10-12 years of related work experience

• Active TS/SCI Clearance US Citizenship Must meet DoD 8140 qualification requirements

Pay

• The salary range for this position is USD $116,200.00/Yr. - USD $185,920/Yr.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
