Irrigation Technician

Landscape East & West is a full service, award winning, eco-friendly, customer-focused landscape contractor based out of Clackamas and Hillsboro, OR. We are looking to add a key member to our irrigation service team. The successful candidate will be servicing irrigation and lighting systems for commercial customers throughout the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities

• Learn from the top experts in the field and work on some of the country’s largest and most complex landscape projects.
• Take advantage of opportunities to share and exchange best practices across our network.
• Job duties include but not limited to: Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties, apartment complexes, homeowners’ associations, and other commercial properties.
• Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers.
• Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.

Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience with irrigation systems
• Highschool diploma or GED Strong communication skills
• Tech Savvy and willing to learn new systems when needed
• Possess a valid and insurable driver's license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Able to walk through maintenance accounts, through all types of terrain. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel & dig Able to drive company assigned van and trailer Position Range: $31 - $34 This is a full-time position. Work schedule is generally 7:00am - 5:30pm Tuesday - Friday.
