Senior SCM Manager

Responsibilities

• Key responsibilities Developing the Nordic Supply Chain: Take ownership of the Nordic supply chain operational model and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service.
• Ensure that improvements are translated into measurable results.
• Use data and analysis to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Analyse root causes behind service failures and lead corrective actions.
• Take ownership of warehouse and transportation cost development.
• Lead contract negotiations, tenders and RFQ processes.

Requirements

• You are likely to succeed in this role if you have: Preferably Master’s of Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or similar and several years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation processes and cost structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes rather than simply solve individual operational issues.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence across functions and countries.

Qualifications

Experience leading and developing people.

Experience with logistics contracts, negotiations, tenders or RFQs.

A structured and pragmatic approach to turning strategy into action. Readiness to handle day-to-day operations. Excellent communication skills in English.
