Senior Software Engineer with Python and Cloud experience needed to join our team!

We are looking for a proactive, technically minded Senior Software Engineer who combines solid engineering fundamentals with a passion for modern, AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements, make sound architectural decisions, and design both high-level system flows and lower-level components.
• Design, build, and maintain software applications using Python and modern engineering practices.
• Leverage AI tools across the development lifecycle to optimize coding efficiency, enhance code quality, and streamline problem-solving.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and team members to clarify requirements, confirm decisions, and lead technical discussions.
• Work independently and proactively to move projects forward while ensuring alignment with architectural constraints, technical standards, and project goals.
• Continuously explore, learn, and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.

Requirements

• Practical Python development experience. Strong problem-solving skills, sound engineering judgment, and a quick-learning mindset are valued above niche specialization.
• Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate software development, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on at least one major cloud platform (preferably Azure).
• Intermediate architecture skills with the ability to translate high-level system requirements into actionable component designs.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability clarify complex requirements and drive technical alignment.
• High accountability and proactivity—someone who takes pride in owning outcomes end-to-end and adapting to changing technical environments.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Azure is preferable. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) would also be an advantage
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs or microservices architectures in Python.
• Experience integrating AI-powered solutions, LLMs, MCPs and developer AI tools into software development processes.

Pay

The gross salary for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. This range reflects our broader group’s compensation framework across diverse agencies and disciplines. For this specific role, our offer will be determined within this range based on our internal benchmark, reflecting the specific market conditions for our discipline. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
