Responsibilities

• \-System Administration & Setup: Implement and manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Procore, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), or BIM 360.
• \-Document Registration & Tracking: Log all incoming and outgoing project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, method statements, and correspondence) into a central register.
• \-Version Control: Ensure project teams, electrical/mechanical engineers, and contractors work exclusively from the latest approved revision, archiving superseded or obsolete files.
• \-Standardization & Naming: Apply strict project naming conventions, metadata tags, and filing structures to guarantee fast and accurate retrieval.
• \-Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, consultants, general contractors, and internal engineering teams to collect approvals, signatures, and tracking updates.
• \-Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO standards, local statutory regulations, and client-specific data center specifications.
• \-Access Control & Security: Restrict sensitive design schematics and proprietary infrastructure details using user permissions, audit trails, and password protection.
• \-Project Closeout & Handover: Compile comprehensive As-Built documentation, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, testing reports, and closeout packages for facility operations

Document Controller in a data center project manages, organizes, and tracks all technical drawings, engineering submissions, contracts, and quality records from design and construction through testing, commissioning, and final handover.

What You'll Bring
