Engine Programmer (For Honor)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core engine systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex performance, stability, and memory issues.
• Design and implement technical improvements that support production needs.
• Work across disciplines to deliver technical solutions.
• Review code and contribute to the team’s programming practices.
• Support other programmers as they use and evolve engine systems.
• Contribute to optimization, automation, and technology modernization.
• Keep up with relevant technology and improve development processes.

Requirements

• Apply your experience with C++ programming.
• Solve technical problems using debugging skills.

Education

Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent training.

Relevant experience

At least 5 years of experience in software programming, ideally in the video game industry or any other relevant experience.

What you bring to the team

• Understand game engine architecture and low-level systems. Apply your experience with performance optimization, multithreading, or memory management.
• Bring experience with Anvil or Scimitar, or an interest in learning the engine. Bring experience with a multiplayer or live-service game as an asset.
