Anyone AI is recruiting experienced Python Software Engineers for a series of paid, project-based engagements with a leading AI lab

You’ll work on clearly scoped software engineering projects involving real-world codebases and development challenges. Projects may include debugging, feature development, refactoring, migrations, testing, and technical review.

Responsibilities

• This is a strong fit for experienced engineers looking for flexible, remote project work alongside other professional commitments
• Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases
• Refactor and migrate existing systems
• Develop and extend unit and integration test suites
• Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations
• Review code and technical submissions for correctness and quality

Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes

• Validate that requirements, code, tests, and expected outputs are aligned
• Projects are individually scoped, allowing contributors to take on work based on their availability and expertise

Requirements

• 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in
• Python
• JavaScript or TypeScript
• Working knowledge of at least one additional language such as
• Java, C#, or Go

Backend or full-stack experience with production systems

• Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing
• Ability to confidently navigate and debug large, multi-file codebases Experience with code reviews, refactoring, and production migrations
• Advanced professional written proficiency in
• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
• Clear technical documentation
