Packaging Value Engineer

Responsibilities

• Modify the packaging structure to enhance the unboxing experience and reduce costs simultaneously.
• Review samples, DFM, and SOPs.
• Ensure the structure passes the reliability test.
• Internal: Work closely with Packaging Designers & Packaging Design PMs.

Preferred

• Experienced using 3D: Rhino or Solidworks or ProE
• Industrial design background
• Leadership in projects

Minimum Qualifications (MUST-haves)

• Logical thinking / Proactive personality.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• 3+ years of experience in development of packaging structure design.

Experienced using 2D: AutoCAD

• Knowledge of material processing for pulp tray, cardboard, blister, gift box, carton and all types of printing processes.
• Knowledge of a wide variety of packaging styles, types, and materials.
• Knowledge of reliability tests.
