Responsibilities

  • Detailed soldering and assembly of electro-mechanical components

Harnesses and cables for our production department

  • Material/manufacturing assembly.
  • Adjust or repair electrical and manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.

Position Description

For more than 33 years KLD Labs, Inc., has provided innovative machine vision solutions tailored for railway customers' monitoring, measurement, inspection, condition-based maintenance and asset management needs. We are looking to hire Electronic Assemblers for our manufacturing production located in Hauppauge, NY. We are an equal opportunity employer in a stable industry. Qualifications Required

Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be fluent in spoken and written English

  • Experience with manufacturing processes such as Assembly/Wiring/Soldering/Crimping
  • Must be able to work from written and oral instructions
  • Highly proficient with industry standard technician and assembly tools

Qualifications Desired

  • Experience working with relevant manufacturing tools such as bandsaw, drill press, hand drill, etc..
  • Must be able to read part drawings and schematics

Advanced mechanical assembly experience

Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular Excel
