## Description

**Our client URGENTLY requires a Procurement Advisor for 12 months + Contract in Gold Coast.**

The Procurement Advisor will work as part of a regional team to develop and implement innovative procurement strategies and activities and provide procurement advice.

**Skills and Experience required include:**

To co-ordinate and monitor the provision of timely, accurate and relevant procurement advice and information on alignment with departmental procurement business and governance framework.
End to end procurement activity implementation including procurement planning and documentation, evaluation and supplier negotiation, contract documentation, contract management and use of supply arrangements.
Lead and coach support staff, ensuring appropriate skill sets and training needs are identified and developed.
Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations.

**Government experience would be highly advantageous.**
