Town and Country Transit (TACT) is now hiring for driver positions! Interested applicants must have: A valid driver’s license. An acceptable driving record from the state(s) lived in the prior three (3) years that passes hiring criteria found in TACT policies (TACT 104 – Operator Hiring Policy). Pass a FBI Criminal History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal History Clearance, and PA Child Abuse History Clearance.

Pass an initial DOT physical and recertification every 2 years, or as often as determined by a certifying medical profession. Pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol test. This position is safety-sensitive and is subject to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) drug and alcohol regulations in 49 CFR Part 655 and 49 CFR Part 40.

Safety-sensitive employees are also subject to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing throughout employment.
