AWS Medior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of production-grade Generative AI applications and AI agents using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Help design and evaluate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, prompt templates, and vector search integrations.
• Support the end-to-end ML lifecycle on AWS, including data prep, model training, deployment, and performance monitoring.
• Write basic Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) and assist with CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads.
• Implement guardrails, data privacy, and security controls following AWS best practices and regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, platform teams, and clients.
• Communicate technical architectures, trade-offs, and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 - 3 years of professional experience in cloud software engineering (preferably AWS) and Python development, with a proven track record of solving real-world business problems.
• Solid understanding of core GenAI concepts (LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases) and traditional machine learning.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (French is a plus).
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving, taking initiative, and taking full ownership of project deliverables from concept to production.

Preferred

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AI Practitioner, or Solutions Architect Associate).
• Experience with v ector databases (OpenSearch, pgvector) or agent frameworks.
• Personal projects or open-source contributions demonstrating AI applications.

Role

Overview We are looking for an impactful, proactive AWS AI Engineer t o join our AI engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, building, testing, and deploying high-impact GenAI solutions and autonomous AI agents on AWS. Working alongside senior AI engineers and architects, you will solve complex technical and business challenges, communicate technical trade-offs to stakeholders, and drive end-to-end value delivery using the AWS stack.

AWS Familiarity

Foundational knowledge of AWS core services ( S3, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway) and AWS AI services ( Bedrock, SageMaker, Bedrock Agentcore ).
