Responsibilities

Accounting Intern

• to gain hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of a fast-growing technology company. You’ll work alongside our Accounting and Finance teams on projects related to accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close while building a practical understanding of how an accounting function operates.
• Assist with basic data entry and upkeep of accounting records
• Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams with administrative tasks
• Help prepare draft journal entries and assist with account reconciliations under supervision
• Support month-end and year-end close activities as assigned
• Organize and maintain financial documents and electronic files

Assist with audit preparation and internal reporting requests

• Perform simple financial analysis or ad hoc projects as needed
• Follow company policies, accounting standards, and confidentiality requirements

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and formulas a plus)
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite or similar)

Required Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
