Founding Engineer, Platform

Responsibilities

• You own the engine that runs every customer workflow: scheduling, queues, retries, provider integrations, and cost and reliability at scale. When a paying customer's run fails, it's your system and your fix. You'll be one of the first engineers and shape how the platform is built from here.
• Own the workflow engine: scheduling, batching, idempotency, cancelling and retrying runs
• Build and harden integrations with dozens of data providers: rate limits, concurrency, failures, cost per call
• Make failures visible and cheap to fix: observability, alerting, cost per run

Scale Postgres and Redis as volume grows

• Use coding agents heavily and own the judgment on what they produce
• Have built job systems, queues or data pipelines that ran in production at real volume
• Treat reliability and cost as product features
