Operations Lead

At SimonMed, the Operations Lead is a hands-on leader responsible for the daily performance of an imaging center. This role ensures efficient workflows, strong patient access, and consistent execution across front office and clinical coordination functions.

Serving as the operational backbone of the site, this leader partners closely with staff, providers, and leadership to resolve issues in real time, improve processes, and maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Responsibilities

• You confidently guide daily priorities, support staff, and keep the site running smoothly and efficiently.
• You review worklists and reports, monitor performance trends, and use data to identify gaps and improve workflows.
• You manage competing operational demands while maintaining focus on patient flow, accuracy, and service quality.
• You ensure accuracy in exam status tracking, documentation, payment collection workflows, and adherence to HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• You provide real-time support, guidance, and issue resolution while helping staff stay aligned and accountable.
• You identify inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and support process improvements in collaboration with leadership.
• Your work directly improves patient flow, access to care, and overall site performance, ensuring patients receive timely, efficient, and compassionate care when they need it most.
• Lead daily execution across scheduling, capacity management, front office operations, and workflow optimization.
• Partner with technologists, front office staff, providers, and leadership teams who are committed to shared success.
• Build expertise in healthcare operations, radiology workflows, and multi-modality imaging environments.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience with TOS workflows, insurance coordination, and operational reporting preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Detail-oriented with strong accountability and follow-through

Preferred

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in radiology, imaging, or healthcare operations
• Experience with radiology systems such as EXA, RIS, and EMR preferred
• Prior lead, senior, or informal supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of patient flow, scheduling, and front office operations
