Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality of industry leading financial and enterprise core product features
  • Working within an agile software development lifecycle to test new product features
  • Using scripting and programming skills to automate tests

Requirements

  • Third level degree in Computer science, Electronic Engineering or similar

Ease with Linux/Unix operating systems

  • Have programming skills using languages such as Python, bash...
  • Interest in learning about financial markets and electronic trading
  • Interest in learning about software testing and test methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English-language communication skills

Preferred

  • Functional understanding of cloud environments
  • C and/or Java programming

Role Description

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 year of experience of test engineering experience, preferably dealing with enterprise products based on Linux and scripting languages. Experience with Python programming and shell scripting is required.

Functional understanding of Cloud environment is desirable but not required

  • The QA role will cover EMEA shift (14:00 IST - 22:00 IST) Monday - Friday

Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home
