Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling ready nursery inventory to wholesale, landscape, and trade customers while building and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This role works closely with harvest crews to fulfill orders on schedule, tracks inventory and pricing, and plays a key part in growing the sales pipeline for upcoming production seasons. Duties & Responsibilities Sell ready inventory to wholesale, landscape, and trade customers. Prioritize movement of perishable/declining stock.

Represent Accokeek Nursery at trade shows and industry events as needed. Build sales pipeline for upcoming fall and spring production. Qualifications 2+ years of wholesale sales experience; nursery or green industry experience preferred. Working knowledge of tree and shrub species and sizing. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, able to manage a sales pipeline independently. Valid driver's license.
