Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Filling holes caused by nails or minor dings from normal wear and tear, typically during apartment turnovers.
• Repairing, replacing, or installing household appliances such as stoves, dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators, washers, and dryers.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents by performing necessary health and safety maintenance tasks.
• Installing locks to enhance the security of our properties.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
• A responsible and reliable work ethic, demonstrating dedication and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Electrical

Repairing, replacing, or installing power switches, fuses, wall sockets, ceiling lights, and ceiling fans.

Painting

Performing minor touch-ups following damage repair and applying new coats of paint to unit walls between residents.

Preventative Maintenance

Conducting maintenance on heating and air-conditioning systems, plumbing fixtures, and smoke detectors.

Lock Installation

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: Technical Skills: Proficiency in all maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical work, drywall repair, painting, and appliance repair.

Positive Attitude

A positive and optimistic mindset that contributes to a harmonious work environment.

Time Management

Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Communication

Strong communication skills to interact with team members, residents, contractors, and associates effectively.
