Software AIT Internship

Responsibilities

• Develop Python tools to interface with satellite subsystems via protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Support the setup and maintenance of physical test benches, including power supplies, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition systems.
• Collaborate on building scalable software frameworks used by the production team to monitor satellite health.

Requirements

• Python Proficiency: Strong ability to use Python for automation, data processing, or hardware control.
• Deep understanding of complex electronic circuits and the ability to read schematics.

Test Automation

Assist in creating automated test sequences for complex electronic circuits and satellite prototypes.

Quality Assurance

Help oversee the reliability of test solutions to ensure they provide accurate "Pass/Fail" feedback in a manufacturing setting.

Hardware Interfacing

Experience working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, and Ethernet.

Embedded Foundations

Familiarity with C and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) or Linux. Experience with Docker/containers for deploying test environments. Version control using Git . Hands-on experience with lab equipment (Osciloscopes, Multimeters, etc.). Location Montevideo, Uruguay.
