Logistics Coordinator Trainee

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation logistics for Barnhart's fleet of cranes, forklifts, hoists, gantries, and other specialized equipment

Assist with load planning, scheduling, and shipment coordination

• Learn and apply federal, state, and local transportation regulations
• Utilize logistics and transportation management software to support daily operations
• Communicate with drivers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
• Support project execution through detailed planning and coordination
• Develop a strong understanding of the heavy-haul transportation and crane industry

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
