Gas Operative

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Team Leader
• Attending gas leaks
• Groundwork
• Excavations and reinstatements
• Utilising appropriate signing, lighting, and guarding
• Ensuring cable avoidance

Delivering equipment and tools where required

• Patrol and plant protection.
• Working on & in deep excavations up to 2.5m
• Working on a standby rota system

Experience and Qualifications

• We are looking for both Trainees [to be placed through a training program] and those who already have the below qualifications.
• SHEA Gas
• NCO1 Assistant
• NRSWA [1,2 & 3 Operative]

Compensation

£28,500 - £30,000 / year
