Product Manager, Payroll Integrations

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to turn messy operational problems into simple, scalable products.

Systems thinking

you can understand messy real-world workflows, model the underlying data and state transitions, and design products that scale beyond the first customer. Technical judgment. You should be able to understand how data moves through complex systems, identify where things can break, and partner with engineering to build products that are reliable, scalable, and easy for customers to trust.

Customer empathy and judgment

you can separate loud symptoms from root causes and build the product customers actually need. Ability to operate in ambiguity, make tradeoffs, and drive alignment across engineering, design, support, implementation, and GTM teams. Excellent written and verbal communication; you can make complex payroll-accounting concepts understandable to engineers, customers, executives, and GTM teams. Bias for ownership and follow-through.
