Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Vacuum floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes in living room, dining room, hallways, study rooms, executive, and craft rooms.
• Clean up spills and stains with appropriate equipment and products.
• Collect and dispose of trash/recycling to appropriate trash collection on premises.
• Wipe, disinfect, and/or dust all surfaces and mirrors.

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of previous housekeeping experience.

Required Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge of cleaning appliances and their operations and proper use of cleaning agents. Ability to obtain and maintain a current certificate or equivalent, from a nationally recognized or approved certification program (i.e., OSHA, CMI) Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to maintain proof of individual auto insurance as required by company safe driver policy.

Special Demands

Required to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less. Physically able to push a vacuum cleaner or mop for extended periods of time. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. The position requires the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
