Assembly Technician - Electrical Control Panel Builder UL508A

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings/schematics.
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments to assemblies under pressure while maintaining specified quality tolerances and adhering to assembly and safety procedures.
• Operate equipment such as wire cutters and label printers.
• Operate cutting equipment while maintaining adherence to specifications.
• Effectively communicate project needs and potential issues to the shop lead.

Essential Functions

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and small electrical assemblies per work instructions.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Experience, Education and Skills

HS Diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years experience in a similar assembly position is preferred
• Experience assembling electrical control panels and/or pneumatic assemblies is a plus
• Basic understanding of tools and components used in assembly
• Ability to learn and follow instructions for mechanical and electrical assembly
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

Attention to detail

This role requires the ability to use hand tools, operate mechanical equipment, move throughout the shop and lift up to 50lbs.
